DENVER – The No. 43 University of Denver women's tennis team will look to improve to 4-0 in the Summit League with a matchup against Western Illinois on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. MT.
The Pioneers are 13-5 overall and 3-0 in the Summit League with just three regular season matches remaining. Despite two 4-3 losses over the weekend to Arizona and Arizona State, the Pios have been a force to be reckoned with all season registering two five-match winning streaks. DU is led by co-captain No. 104 Bianca Mok who is 13-2 on the season while riding a seven match winning streak. Fellow senior and co-captain Arisha Ladhani is 9-3 on the season playing from the No. 2 and 3 position while sophomore Anna Riedmiller is 13-1 in singles play. Mok and Camille Verden-Anderson lead Denver in doubles play, going 12-4 from the No. 1 position. Western Illinois is just 4-8 overall and 1-3 in the Summit League this year with its lone win coming against Omaha (4-3).
