DENVER – The No. 15 University of Denver women's lacrosse team is set to wrap up its 2019 home schedule against Marquette on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. MT in Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. The Pioneers will recognize their ten seniors for their outstanding achievements over the last four seasons; the ceremony will begin before first whistle at approximately 6:54 p.m.
The Crimson and Gold look to remain undefeated in BIG EAST contests, going 3-0 on the year thus far to stand strong atop the conference standings.
Quintin Hoch-Bullen leads the team with 37 goals on 73 shots this season,
Hannah Liddy leads with 34 assists, ranking No. 1 in the BIG EAST with 3.33 assists per game. Junior
Carson Gregg has been unstoppable in front of the net for Denver, totaling 67 saves and checking into the No. 1 spot with 6.37 goals-against average in the NCAA.
The Golden Eagles come to the Mile High City with an 8-7 mark, going 2-1 in BIG EAST play and 3-3 at home. They're coming off a two-game win streak, having defeated Butler on April 6 and Old Dominion on April 13. Grace Gabriel leads the team and the conference standing with 47 goals on the year. Julianna Horning has spent a majority of the time in net for Marquette, totaling 85 saves for a .370 save percentage.
After taking on Marquette, the Crimson and Gold will hit the road for the final regular season game of the year, facing Villanova on Friday, April 26 at 5 p.m. MT.
