Box Score DENVER – The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team defeated Utah State 6-1 on Saturday at the Denver Tennis Park.
Two doubles wins and five singles victories helped Denver to its second straight win.

Tatum Burger won 6-4 at No. 2 and
Toni Nelson/
Britt Pursell won 6-2 at No. 3 to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead in the match.
For the second consecutive match,
Anna Riedmiller, Burger and Nelson won their singles matches in straight sets with Nelson winning in convincing fashion, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
Camille Verden-Anderson also posted a straight set victory with a 6-2, 7-5 decision at No. 5
Denver travels to Kansas next weekend for a match against Kansas on Feb. 12 and Kansas State on Feb. 13.
