DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis program is back in action this weekend when it welcomes Omaha and Washington State to the Denver Tennis Park.
Denver hosts Omaha in its second Summit League match of the season on Saturday at 10 a.m. MT before welcoming Pac 12 foe Washington State to Denver Tennis Park Monday at 12 p.m. MT.
Last Time Out:
Denver opened Summit League play with a 6-1 win against Kansas City on Sunday morning.
This Week's Rankings:
In singles, Anna Riedmiller is ranked 116th, posting an 9-1 record. Camille Verden-Anderson and Britt Pursell are the 59th ranked doubles tandem in the country with their 6-1 record heading into the weekend.
Significant Stats:
- Riedmiller has won nine-straight singles matches for the Pioneers, eight at the No. 2 position and one at No. 1 singles.
- Pursell has won seven-straight herself, with six-straight at No. 3 and one at No. 2 singles.
- Toni Nelson is 6-2 this season at No. 6 singles.
- Denver's nationally ranked doubles tandem has won six-straight matches together across No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
