Denver closed out a six-game homestand with a sweep of Georgetown (15-11, 15-5), in a rematch of the 2019 BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Championship Game March 26 and 28.

Hannah Liddy scored four goals and
Julia Gilbert completed her hat trick.
Bea Behrins got another hat trick in the 10-goal Sunday victory to lead the Pioneers with five. Gilbert added four tallies and three other Pioneers finished with two apiece.
Series History
Denver is 3-0 all-time against UConn, a series that started in 2008. The Pioneers won 21-13 in March of 2008 at Peter Barton. DU also hosted the first BIG EAST game between the two programs, taking down the Huskies 16-11 in 2017. In 2018, Denver beat UConn 13-5 in Storrs.

- Little, Radochonski and senior Sammie Morton are captains for the 2021 season
- Little and Hoch-Bullen earned Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America honors for the second straight year
- Liza Kelly has a 186-72 record in her 15 seasons as DU's head coach. Last time out, Kelly picked up her 250th career win as the Pioneers completed the sweep of Georgetown.
- Denver was picked 1st in the BIG EAST women's lacrosse preseason coaches' poll
- Little was invited to a U.S. team tryout for the 2021 Women's World Championship and assistant coach Brittany Read was named to England's training squad for the championship, which was later postponed
- DU is second in the country in caused turnovers per game at 13.29, ninth in scoring defense (8.29) and seventh in scoring margin (7.0).
- Kailey Conry is 11th in the country among active players in career points with 263 and second in assists (182)
UP NEXT: Denver will close out its four-game BIG EAST road swing next weekend when the Pioneers travel to Marquette. The two game-set will take place April 16 and 18 in Milwaukee. Denver will close out its BIG EAST regular season slate against Villanova April 23&25 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, and the 2021 regular season as a whole at home on April 29 against Colorado.
