Series History

The Pioneers are 0-1 all-time vs Cal State Northridge, a 3-1 loss back on Sept. 14, 2013.
DU and Southern California are meeting for the first time in the all-time series.
This will be the first matchup all-time between the Crimson and Gold and Campbell.

Summit League Preseason Poll

Denver was picked second in the Summit League Preseason Poll and received four first-place votes by the coaches on Aug. 25.
Graduate student Ellie Anderson and Brianna Green were tabbed as "Players to Watch" by the league.

News & Notes

Head coach Tom Hogan enters his sixth season in charge of the Pioneers.
Hogan has a career record of 110-30 (.785).
Hogan picked up his third Summit League Coach of the Year award last season.
The Pioneers have won their last four season-opening matches with Hogan having a career record of 4-1 in the opener.
Lydia Bartalo picked up her 800th career kill last season, becoming just the 15th player in program history to hit the mark.
The Crimson and Gold have won five of the last six Summit League Tournament Championships.
The Pioneers finished first in the Summit League with a 13-2 record and .866 winning percentage last year, including posting the first unbeaten road record in school history.
The Crimson & Gold ranked third in the NCAA in aces/set (2.28), 26th in blocks/set (2.58) and 23rd in hitting percentage (.267)
Bartalo ranked third in NCAA in aces/set (.68) last year.
Tina Boe and Brianna Green ranked second and third in the Summit League in blocks/set last season.
