DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team will open its 2022 home schedule this weekend when the Pioneers welcome Wisconsin (Friday/12 p.m. MT) and Oregon (Sunday/10 a.m. MT) to the Denver Tennis Park.
Last Time Out:
Denver split its weekend at the ITA Kickoff Weekend event, dropping a 4-3 match to Washington before beating Cal Poly 4-2 the following morning.
Series History:
Wisconsin: Denver is 1-3 all-time against Wisconsin, stretching it to seven points each of the last two meetings off the back of the Pioneers only win of the series by a 5-2 margin in 2019 at the Denver Tennis Park.
Oregon: The Pioneers are 2-3 in their Division I history against Oregon, winning the last two in 2017 and 2019. Oregon won the first three meetings in 2006, 2007 and 2013 before the Pioneers defeated the Ducks in neutral site matches in Boise (4-2) and Malibu (4-0).
