DENVER – The [60] University of Denver women's tennis team will be back in action this weekend when the Pioneers travel to Lubbock, Texas, for a pair of matches, beginning with a Thursday date with [39] SMU on Thursday at 12 p.m. MT. The Pioneers will then take on [34] Texas Tech on Saturday at 11 a.m. MT.
Last Time Out:
Denver swept North Dakota 7-0 to stretch its win streak to eight and improve to 4-0 in Summit League play.
Series History:
Denver vs. SMU
The Pioneers won the only previous meeting with the Ponies, a 4-3 victory in Dallas in 2004.
Denver vs. Texas Tech:
Denver is 2-4 against Texas Tech, winning the last meeting in 2020 in Lubbock. The Pioneers fell to the Red Raiders in the 2017 NCAA Tournament by a score of 4-1 in Lubbock.
