DENVER – The [48] University of Denver women's tennis team will be back in Summit League play this weekend when the Pioneers head to the Dakotas to take on South Dakota on Friday at 12 p.m. MT before heading to North Dakota Saturday at 4 p.m. MT.
Last Time Out:
Denver won three-straight home games last weekend without dropping a point, taking victories off Weber State, Summit League foe St. Thomas and Air Force.
Series History:
Denver vs. South Dakota:
Denver is 13-0 in its Division I history against South Dakota, including 6-0 in Summit League play. Friday marks just the second meeting between the two programs in Vermillion. Denver hasn't lost a point in the last eight meetings since a 5-2 win in the only previous meeting at USD.
Denver vs. North Dakota:
The Pioneers have a 2-0 edge over North Dakota in the series, with both matches being played in Grand Forks. The Pioneers won 7-0 in 2019 and 6-1 last season.
Up Next:
Denver will head back out of conference next weekend when the Pioneers travel to Lubbock, Texas for a pair of matches. Denver will take on SMU in a neutral site match on Thursday, March 24, before battling the host Red Raiders on Saturday.
