Box Score BOULDER – The [67] University of Denver women's tennis team (10-7) fell to Colorado (7-11) by a count of 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center.
Doubles:
Denver's top doubles tandem of
Britt Pursell and
Camille Verden-Anderson improved to 10-5 on the campaign with their second-straight win, a 6-1 victory over Colorado on the No. 1 court.
CU grabbed the other two courts to take the doubles point.
Singles:
Only the top three singles courts saw action on Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor Melville and Verden-Anderson both won the first sets of their respective singles matches but fell in three-setters, while
Anna Riedmiller went to a first-set breaker, but lost in straight sets.

Denver (10-7, 5-0) will jump back into Summit League play this weekend when the Pioneers head to Kansas City. First serve is set for 2 p.m. CT/1 p.m. MT.
