Box Score WACO, Texas – The University of Denver women's tennis team finished up at the 2023 H-E-B Invitational, hosted by Baylor, with a 7-1 record in singles against Illinois while splitting doubles results against teams from multiple schools on Sunday.
 
Denver collected seven wins in eight singles matches against Illinois including straight-sets wins for junior Andrea Burguete Beltran, sophomore Claudia Martinez de Velasco, graduate student Britt Pursell, sophomore Anastasia Simonov and sophomore Lousie Wikander.
 
In doubles, DU saw matching 6-3 wins from Beltran/Pursell and the team of sophomore Caroline Driscoll and freshman Karsyn Evans.
 
DU continues its fall schedule at the San Diego Veterans Classic on October 13-15.
