No. 44 DU Women’s Tennis Set for Regular-Season Finale at UND

Denver seeks 10th-straight Summit League regular season title on April 15

DENVER – The No. 44-ranked University of Denver women's tennis team (15-4) will conclude its regular season at North Dakota on Friday, April 15, at 4 p.m. CT/3 p.m. MT
 
Denver can secure its 10th-consecutive Summit League regular-season title with a win. DU enters the final week of the season 5-0 in conference play – all five won 7-0.
 
Last Time Out:
Denver captured a 4-2 win at then-ranked No. 68 Tulsa on April 7 in the team's final non-conference match of the season, dropping the doubles point before winning four of the five singles matches that were completed. DU finished the weekend with another 7-0 sweep of a Summit League opponent, winning at Oral Roberts on April 8.
 
Series History:
Denver is 3-0 all-time against North Dakota with all three matches coming at UND. The teams most recently met on March 12, 2022, in a 7-0 win for Denver. DU has only lost one point to UND, coming at No. 3 singles on April 10, 2021.
 
Up Next:
The 2023 Summit League Women's Tennis Championship will be held April 21-22, hosted by Oral Roberts. DU has clinched a spot in the tournament and can secure the top seed with a win against North Dakota.
