WACO, Texas – The University of Denver women's tennis team added eight more wins on Day 2 of the H-E-B Invitational, hosted by Baylor, on Saturday.
 
DU played against doubles teams from Missouri and Nebraska, going 3-4 between both duals. Sophomore Louise Wikander accounted for two of the wins – both finishing 6-1 – first with fellow sophomore Caroline Driscoll against Missouri before teaming up with another classmate in Anastasia Simonov against Nebraska.
 
In singles, half of the Denver roster played against Baylor while the other half took on Lamar. Junior Andrea Burguete Beltran and Driscoll captured two wins against the host BU, and Denver went 3-1 against Lamar with wins by freshman Karsyn Evans, sophomore Claudia Martinez de Velasco and Simonov.
 
The H-E-B Invitational concludes on Sunday when DU takes on Baylor in doubles and Missouri in singles, beginning at 9 a.m. CT/8 a.m. MT.
