DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team returns to Denver Tennis Park for two matches against Power-5 teams in Kansas State and Iowa on February 2-4.
KSU first comes to town on Friday, February 2, at 11 a.m. MT before Denver hosts Iowa on Sunday, February 4, at 10 a.m. MT.
Last Time Out:
Denver traveled to Durham, North Carolina, for the 2024 ITA Kickoff Weekend, hosted by Duke. DU first played then-No. 14 Auburn on January 26 in a 4-0 sweep for the Tigers. The next day, Denver took on Princeton and lost in a heartbreaker, 4-3. DU dropped the doubles point and played from behind for much of the dual to level things at 3-3 before Princeton snuck out a win in the final singles match of the day.
Series History:
Kansas State: This will be just the fourth all-time meeting between DU and KSU with Denver taking two of the first three meetings including a 4-2 win in a neutral-site match hosted by Iowa on February 4, 2023. KSU has never played in Denver.
Iowa: DU holds a 5-1 all-time record against Iowa, though the Hawkeyes claimed the most recent match, 5-2, at home on February 3, 2023. Iowa last traveled to Denver on February 25, 2022, in a narrow 4-3 win for DU. Prior to the last two seasons, the teams had not played since 2008.

The University of Denver women's tennis team heads to the Pacific Northwest for two matches, taking on Portland in a neutral-site match on Saturday, February 10, before playing at Oregon on Sunday, February 11.
