Box Score DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team went five-of-six on the final day of the Colorado Cup at Denver Tennis Park on Sunday.
 
All of Denver's matches featured opponents from New Mexico, and the Pioneers came away with a sweep in singles while splitting the two doubles contests.
 
Juniors Claudia Martinez de Velasco and Louise Wikander finished undefeated on the weekend, winning all four of their doubles matches together while also adding three singles wins apiece.
 
Junior Hana Bečirovič Novak joined them in finishing with a perfect singles record for the tournament, and freshman Natálie Cinková won her second of three singles matches.
 
Five Pioneers' fall seasons are now complete. Senior Andrea Burguete Beltran has one final tournament left: the 2024 NCAA Singles Championships. Burguete Beltran will await the draw announcement, scheduled for Saturday, November 16, with play set to begin on Tuesday, November 19.
