DU Women’s Tennis to Host Utah on Friday

Denver set for second of three consecutive duals against Power-5 teams

DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (6-2, 0-0 Summit) welcomes Utah to Denver Tennis Park on Friday, February 16, at 1 p.m. MT.
 
It is Denver's final home match in February and the second of three in a row against a Power-5 opponent.
 
Last Time Out:
Denver traveled to Oregon for two matches, first landing a 4-2 win against Portland in a neutral-site match on February 10 and then capturing a 4-3 win at host Oregon the following day.
 
Junior Andrea Burguete Beltran became the third Pioneers to earn Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors this season after wins at No. 1 singles and doubles against the Ducks.
 
Series History:
Utah: Denver leads the head-to-head record against Utah, 11-7, with the teams meeting at least once in each of the last eight seasons. The teams split the last two matches, both held in Salt Lake City: 5-2 to Utah on February 10, 2023, and 4-3 to Denver on February 19, 2022. Utah last made the trip to Denver on February 26, 2021, a 4-0 sweep for DU.
