DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team will continue its six-match homestand when it hosts Montana State on Friday, February 21, at 12 p.m. MT at Denver Tennis Park.
Friday's match kicks off a Denver Tennis doubleheader with the DU men's team hosting Utah State later that day at 5 p.m. MT.
Admission is free for fans all season long at Denver Tennis Park.
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver collected its second win of the year with a 4-0 sweep of Colorado State on February 16. For the third match in a row, Denver won the doubles point with victories on the top two courts before going up 2-0 after CSU did not field a player at No. 6 singles. Juniors
Hana Bečirovič Novak and
Claudia Martinez de Velasco closed out the Nos. 4 and 5 matches in straight sets to give DU the win.

Andrea Burguete Beltran and junior
Marley Lambert won both of their matches, 6-2, on the weekend, earning them Summit League Doubles Peak Team of the Week honors for the second time in 2025.
SERIES HISTORY:
Montana State: DU and MSU have split their first four meetings with Denver owning wins in the last two. The teams last played to a 7-0 DU sweep in Denver on February 24, 2023, in what was the first time they had met in a dual since 2001.
UP NEXT:
The University of Denver women's tennis team begins Summit League play with back-to-back matches against Kansas City and Omaha on March 1-2 at Denver Tennis Park. Play is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. MT and 10 a.m. MT, respectively.
