DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team is headed to UTSA on Sunday, March 16, for the first of four consecutive non-Summit League matches to end the month of March. Play is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT/10 a.m. MT.
Sunday's match is the last match before DU has a bye week next weekend. It also marks a three-weak break from Summit League play for the Pioneers.
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver hosted its final regular-season home match of the 2025 season and earned its fifth sweep of the year with a 7-0 victory over Summit League opponent St. Thomas. The win moved DU to 3-0 so far in league play after starting its conference schedule with a 7-0 win over Kansas City and a 6-1 win against Omaha.

Burguete Beltran completed a sweep of the weekly Summit League awards with her first Peak Performer of the Week nod of the year. The senior captured her 20
th win of the academic year with her fourth straight-sets victory in a row, dropping only three games against St. Thomas.
SERIES HISTORY:
UTSA: Denver and UTSA have only met twice previously with DU winning both matches, 7-0. The teams have not played since a neutral-site dual in Ruston, Louisiana, on March 29, 2013. Their only other meeting came at UTSA on January 23, 2009.

The University of Denver women's tennis team has a bye next week before playing three matches in four days on the Easy Coast, starting with a trip to Columbia on Wednesday, March 26.
2025 SUMMIT LEAGUE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The University of Denver will host the 2025 Summit League Tennis Championships on April 18-19 at Denver Tennis Park. Additional information regarding the tournament will be released in the coming weeks.
