DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team finishes its 2025 regular season with trips to South Dakota and North Dakota on April 11-12, respectively.
Denver starts the weekend at USD on Friday, April 11, at 12 p.m. CT/11 a.m. MT before visiting UND on Saturday, April 12, at 1:30 p.m. CT/12:30 p.m. MT.
DU is seeking its 11
th consecutive Summit League regular-season title and will have the opportunity to clinch it with wins it both matches this weekend.
LAST TIME OUT:
Denver played just once last week, earning a 7-0 sweep at Oral Roberts on April 4. DU once again cruised through doubles before claiming five of the six singles matches in straight sets – three of them with four or fewer games lost. Senior
Andrea Burguete Beltran secured the sweep in a 10-point match tiebreak at No. 1 singles.
SERIES HISTORY:
South Dakota: Denver is 18-0 against South Dakota, including two wins from 2024. The teams most recently met in the 2024 Summit League final with Denver claiming a 4-0 sweep to win its 10
th straight Summit League tournament crown. In the 2024 regular season, DU hosted USD on March 8 and tallied a 6-1 win. Denver has not played on the South Dakota campus in Vermillion, S.D., since April 23, 2016, in a 5-2 DU win. All other previous meetings in South Dakota have been held in Sioux Falls, most recently a 5-2 Denver win on March 11, 2022.
North Dakota: This will be just the seventh meeting between Denver and North Dakota with the Pioneers owning a 7-0 record. They most recently played on March 30, 2024, in Denver with DU earning a 7-0 sweep. The first four meetings between the two teams all came at UND, last happening on April 15, 2023, in what was also DU's regular-season finale and ending with a 6-1 Denver win.

The University of Denver will host the 2025 Summit League Tennis Championships on April 18-19 at Denver Tennis Park. Additional information regarding the tournament, including selections and brackets, will be released on Monday.
