DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team will welcome senior transfer
Zoe Adkins to the roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season, head coach
Paul Wardlaw announced on Tuesday.
Adkins spent the last three seasons at fellow Summit League member Omaha, playing at No. 1 singles for all of the 2024-25 campaign and most of the 2023-24 season. She has also spent the majority of her collegiate career thus far at No. 1 doubles for the Mavericks. In each of the last two seasons, she has been named to the All-Summit League Team and added an honorable mention nod in her freshman season. The Maple Grove, Minnesota, native will enter her final year of eligibility at Denver with 45 career singles wins and 43 career doubles wins.
Adkins will join a Denver team that won its 11
th consecutive Summit League tournament title in 2024-25 and advanced to the NCAA National Championships for the 14
th time in program history. DU returns all but one student-athlete from its 2024-25 roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season while also adding Adkins and incoming freshman
Ruby Hansen.
