Why DU:
“I wanted to stay in Colorado, and I was really impressed by the study abroad programs and how many people went each year. I also liked the small classroom ratios that you can see even in your freshman year. The quarter system was also really appealing to be able to take more classes at a faster learning style pace than a semester system school.”

Why Triathlon:
“I grew up swimming competitively and played soccer up until college on a competitive team, so I had the running and swimming aspects. I wanted to try something new and to be a part of a competitive team again was something that I was looking for in college and to be able to grow in a sport that I tried a couple of times when I was little, but I have really found a passion for it now. It is also amazing to be able to train with some of the best incoming freshmen in their class and to push myself to be the best version that I can be.”
