Why DU:
“I chose DU because I have always looked up to their programs, both athletically and academically. Before joining the team, I would sometimes compete against the DU women in triathlon, and they were always really tough competitors. I knew that was an environment that I wanted to be a part of.”
Â
Why Triathlon:
“Triathlon takes an incredible amount of discipline and grit. From the training required to be at the elite level to the demands faced on race day, I always find fulfillment in the rigorous schedule and consistency of the triathlon lifestyle. Up until recently, I did not understand the team aspect to triathlon racing, but once that was introduced, I fell even more in love with the sport knowing everyone has a unique role in team victories.”
