Denver picked up a trio of victories this weekend over North Texas (7-0), No. 38 Iowa (6-1) and Yale (7-0) to improve its undefeated record to 13-0. The team received a program-best No. 19 ranking in yesterday’s ITA Tennis poll, rising above last week’s record-high No. 24 mark.

Against North Texas, Voelker downed Madura Ranganathan 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 at No. 1 and paired with Bauregger to defeated Ranganathan and Olga Cruz Gomez 8-2 at No. 1 doubles. In the Iowa match, Voelker beat Lee 6-2, 6-1 and Lee and Alexis Dorr 8-4 with Bauregger in doubles. In the final match of the weekend against Yale, the duo edged Lindsay Clark and Jessica Rhee 9-7 at No. 1 doubles and Voelker clinched the win for the Pioneers with her 6-1, 6-4 singles win over Rhee.
