DENVER -
The Denver Pioneers (9-4, 0-0) are set to open conference play with two road matches this weekend. Denver is scheduled to play South Dakota State on Saturday, March 31 and Oral Roberts on Sunday, April 1.
Denver enters Summit League play on a six-match winning streak and having won the conference title in each of the last four seasons. The Pioneers are led by No. 54 Julia O’Loughlin, Bianca Mok and Hada Chang on the singles courts. Mok has a 10-1 record (9-1 at No. 2) in singles, while O’Loughlin and Hada Chang have 9-2 records. Chang enters this weekend on a seven-match winning streak.
In doubles play, O’Loughlin and Bianca Mok rank No. 20 in the nation in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Rankings and have posted a 5-1 record in the No. 1 position.
Saturday's match is set for 9 a.m. MT and Sunday's match is set for 8 a.m. MT.

The University of Denver is holding an alumni giving challenge for the 2017-2018 season in an effort to increase student-athlete alumni participation in the Denver Athletics Annual Fund. The sport with the highest percentage of alumni participation will receive an additional $10,000 of support through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
