Pioneers Set for Three Matches in Four Days

The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team (4-2, 0-0) looks to rebound from a tightly-contested 4-3 loss to Wisconsin last weekend with three matches in four days beginning on Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.

Denver will host Montana on Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. MT, then travel to Lubbock, Texas to play South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. MT and Texas Tech on Monday, Feb. 17 at 12 p.m. MT.

The Pioneers split last weekend with a 4-3 win against DePaul and a 4-3 loss to Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. Through six matches, junior Anna Riedmiller holds the only perfect mark for the Pioneers in singles play with a 4-0 record at #2. On the doubles court, sophomores Tatum Burger/Toni Nelson and junior Hada Chang/sophomore Taylor Melville are both 5-1, with the latter duo playing each of its matches on the top court.
